TIO #40 - Surprise Me - What's on Your desk?

Thanks for all the wonderful entries last week. Some great dreaming went to to make them!! Also, several of you have said how inspirational you find the themes, so thanks for that too. Hope to keep that up again this week!! This is the last chance to enter for the blogaversary candy shown above!!

Here we go then with TIO #40 can you believe!!! The theme this week is to surprise me - but to use what's on your desk to dream up your tag... If there is no real stamp around, please feel free to get one out, even if it is just one word!!! So there you have it, do your own thing, within the contraint of what you have out + a stamp... should make you think about your compositions!!!!! ENJOY...

This week, I want you to dream again with me - come on a  journey with a ticket to ride. Your tag could be about one country, lots of places, tickets and stamps of any kind etc. Please use digi images if you want, but PLEASE include at least one real stamp. This could be words, but we need to keep stamping alive!!!! Above all, please ENJOY!!!

TIO #38 Along the River - Guest Hostess Janet

There were some wonderful creations last week and I loved seeing them all. We have another guest here at TIO, as I hinted on the sidebar!!! She is a fellow member of the Rainbows forum, run by Rainbow Lady, and her name is Janet. I am sure you will love looking at her lovely blog and doing the challenge she has set us to dream this week. Her theme is "Along the River" . So here she is...

I live overlooking the Moray Firth in the North East of Scotland with my husband John on what was formerly a riding and trekking centre. We are both retired and have lived here for 10 years. Over the years we have kept a flock of sheep, horses, ducks and rare breed chickens. We also showed and bred Boxer dogs with some success.

I have always been interested in art and making things. Previously it has been knitting and sewing but now I am completely taken with photography, painting, card making and especially rubber stamping. I love making pictures and using inks and images to convey a feeling or a memory. I get most of my inspiration from the beautiful countryside around us.

My tag recalls a pleasant Sunday afternoon feeding the ducks and swans on the river. Perhaps yours might show the fish and plants in the water, the riverbank and animals, the bridges and buildings alongside the water. Come on in and dream with me - the water's fine!

So there you have it... watery, possibly peaceful (but not necessarily!!) country, town.... any interpretation of the theme, with at least one real stamp included. ENJOY!!

TIO #37 - Under Lock and Key

Thanks for all the comments and entries from last week. It seems to have galvanised many of you into dreaming with me!!! So let's look again at grungy, distressing, old and interesting... well that's how I went with it!!! The theme then is under lock and key. Please use at least one stamp and dream with me. It's a very loose theme, so interpret it as you will, but most of all, ENJOY!!
